The storm took place on April 30, 2010, with over 17" of rain throughout the night. Around 1 a.m. we heard a loud crash outside our bedroom window. The power went out, but within a few second we heard the Generac generator start and power was restored, so my wife and I just went back to sleep. At 8:00 a.m., the power company came and told us the power was out in the area and that we had several trees down next to our home. He noticed we still had power and I told him we had a generator. He went to look around outside and in a few minutes returned. He told me a tree had crushed the generator but it was still running. I told him it had been running for 7 hours and he was shocked. The power came back on and the generator went back to stand-by mode. I could not believe the damage the generator had experienced and still ran. Yes, a tree fell on it, crushing the enclosure, but it was also moved nearly two feet from the original position. The generator has been 100% reliable for over 9 years through storms and tornados and never let us down. Of course the replacement can only be a GENERAC!

I had to email you tonight with glowing accolades. I am sure you recognize the talent you have in your head Service Manager, Eric, but I just wanted to reiterate to you what a professional, hard working and absolutely tremendous employee you have. From the initial knock at the door, Eric was always smiling and willing to explain every detail of what he and his crew were doing on the job. He was very informative, without being degrading as some technicians can be when working on their specialty. My husband and I both made the comment that Eric is the most personable electrician we have ever met! He even called after hours to follow up on a service question I had - unbelievable! He was so professional and kind that I had to ask him if he was part owner of your company!! Thank you for sending Eric and his crew out to install our new Generator today. I also wanted to thank you for getting the Generator installed so quickly. I understand that these units take a while to order and install, and your company was lightening fast. I ordered this in November, and the first of January it was installed in my house... pretty impressive! Again, thank you for a job well done.
